Sean Connery and his wife involved in property scandal

The film starred Sean Connery and his wife were summoned to testify before a Spanish court to investigate property scandal.  80-year-old actor, who currently lives in the Bahamas in May was investigated affair called "The Godfather", named after the James Bond movie of 1964 in connection with the sale of his luxury villa on the resort of Marbella .
The star of "Finding Forrester" sold house called "Malibu" in 1999 to about nine million dollars (6.5 million euros). Then it was demolished and in its place was built luxury four-storey complex with 72 apartments, although acoording to the law of this land, there can be built only five houses.
In May, police raided offices in Madrid and Marbella on the law firm, which is believed, that was sold. Scottish actor and French wife Micheline have been summoned to appear before a judge in Marbella on 15 October. They are not arrested and not against them indictments.  Regional newspaper Dario Sur reported that British authorities in Spain have provided the court address the couple in the Bahamas.
The judge said that if they do not appear, may use all lawful means in the domestic and international law to bring them positive" states the publication.  This is not the first and only case in which the name of the star was involved in real estate scandals.
Last year he was investigated after allegations that he had made millions of dollars of state property, shares and diamonds left by a former friend as a guarantee against the loan.  He was accused by relatives of deceased French businessman, he made a huge fortune selling properties and values given to him as collateral against a loan of $ 4 million.
